Depart Auckland friday afternoon with Air New Zealand.. Crossing the dateline means arrival Papeete late thursday night and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax, explore the town, and enjoy the Heiva festival.
Saturday 13 July. PAPEETE
Enjoy our included half day tour including remote villages,and beaches and Point Venus and the monument to Captain Cook who stopped off here to observe the Transit of Venus..

Monday 15th July. PAPEETE - RAIATEA - BORA BORA. (BD)
Transfer to the airport for the 50 minute flight to Raiatea. We will be met on arrival for a private tour to explore the best of the island featuring Taputapuatea the sacred royal marae and famed as the centre of Polynesian settlement in the rest of the South Pacific including New Zealand. Raiatea was the first island settled in French Polynesia over 1,000 years ago and from which Maori are reputed to have started their migration to New Zealand some 800 years ago. Tour included covering the mountains, villages and history with a visit to a pearl farm. Mid afternoon we fly to the fabled island of Bora Bora and transfer toi the Maitai resort. Dinner included tonight.

Our half day tour of the main island will introduce you to its history, creafts, villages, and people.
Wednesday. 17 July. BORA BORA (B)
Free day for optional activities. Cruise the lagoon, explore further, or just relax at your resort.
Thursday 18 July. BORA BORA - PAPEETE. (B)
Fly back to Papeete and return to your hotel
Friday. 19 July. PAPEETE. (B)
Free day. Optional tour to Moorea. Enjoy the Heiva competitions and excitement.
Saturday 20 July/ Sunday 21 July. PAPEETE DEPART
Depart Papeete this morning returning to Auckland with Air Tahiti Nui. Crossing the dateline means arriving Auckland Sunday 21 July.
